Al has been in the advertising and marketing industry for over ten years. His hard work and dedication in the field led him to open Big Maveric Marketing Inc. in August of 2003. He has since developed strong strategies for success, leading Big Maveric to receive the Bronze, Silver, and most recently Gold Performance Awards. In June of 2006, Al promoted Christal Fenning to ownership and Christal has run her own very successful company, Divine Marketing Inc. since then. In 2008, Al expanded further and opened up Maveric Marketing Inc. in Montreal, leading the way for TNI’s expansion into the Quebec market. Since opening operations in Montreal, Al has promoted Assistant Managers, Managers and Wisly Fils, Owner of Promotions Connexions 7 Inc. and Richard Chick, Owner of Top Shelf Marketing Inc., to Ownership. In July of 2009, Al was promoted to Regional Director for TNI and at the 2010 Holiday Party, was presented with his 10 Year Service Award and at TNI’s 2012 Owners’ Conference, Al was given the prestigious Owner of the Year Award to add to his collection.

Christal Fenning

Christal began her career with Big Maveric Marketing Inc. in September of 2003 in Calgary, Alberta. Her hard work, commitment, competitive attitude and dedication led to her promotion to a management level in November of 2004. Christal continued her growth as a Manager, and opened up her own company, Ace 1 Advertising & Acquisitions Inc., in May of 2006. With her winning attitude and desire to have a successful marketing and advertising firm, ACE surpassed the 1 million Newsletter Points mark, earning the Bronze Performance Award. One year after incorporation, Christal was awarded the Rookie Owner/Manager of the Year Award from TNI. Next, Christal was awarded the Owner of the Year Award and Administrative Team of the Year Award in 2008; then the Most Consistent Owner of the Year Award at the 2009 Owners’ Conference, and the Owner of the Year Award at the 2011 Owners’ Conference. In 2012, Christal was named the Most Consistent Owner of the Year, and most recently at the 2013 Owners’ Conference, Christal received her 5 Year Recognition Award and was presented with the award for Most Consistent Owner/Manager of the Year. Always a forward thinker, Christal recently underwent a re-brand and now operates under Divine Marketing Incorporated. An ever evolving company, Diving Marketing continues to hold many opportunities for Christal and her team.

Wisly began his career in April of 2009 with Maveric Marketing Inc. in Montreal and has played a key role in the Quebec expansion since day one. Wisly has a natural passion for the causes he represents; having moved to Canada from Haiti, he is both honoured and excited to work with the caliber of clients the company represents. His past experiences have given him a drive to succeed that has allowed him to not only meet, but exceed, all expectations. At the 2009 Holiday Party, Wisly was presented with the first ever Top Leader Award for Quebec, and earned his promotion to Assistant Manager at the 2010 Holiday Party. In July of 2011, Wisly was presented with his Millennium Award and later that year, he was promoted to Manager of Maveric Marketing Inc. He then continued to work hard towards his goal of ownership, a goal he achieved in December of 2012 when he was promoted to Ownership at the East Coast Agency Holiday Party. In early 2013, Wisly began operations under his Agency, Promotions Connexion 7 Inc. in Montreal. Most recently at the 2013 Owners’ Conference, Wisly was presented with coveted Owner/Manager of the Year Award.

 

Richard Chick

Richard started his career in the business in April of 2010 in Halifax, NS. He quickly earned a promotion to Team Leader and then Assistant Manager at the 2010 East Coast Holiday Party. Richard never let go of the drive and enthusiasm that allowed him to succeed so quickly and reached the goal of Management after only one year in the business, receiving a promotion to Manager of Big Maveric Marketing Inc. in Halifax in May of 2011. Richard has since seen members of his team reach milestones in their own careers. He recently promoted Corey Hollis to Assistant Manager at the 2013 Leader’s Conference and it was there that he realized his next big achievement in the business as well - being promoted to Ownership. Richard was then presented with the Most Improved Owner/Manager of the Year Award at the 2013 Owners’ Conference. On September 2nd, 2013, his dream became a reality when he began operations under his own company, Top Shelf Marketing Inc., in both Halifax, NS and St. John’s NF. For aspiring leaders, Richard has these words of advice, “Ask for help when needed; and walk the walk, don’t talk the talk.”

Abdou started with Maveric Marketing Inc. in June of 2010 and has not looked back since day one! Abdou is not afraid of hard work and will ensure he gets the job done. Originally from Dakar, Senegal, Abdou travelled extensively throughout Europe and Canada looking for his next big challenge when he came across Big Maveric Marketing in Montreal, Quebec! At the 2011 Holiday Party, he was presented with the first Rising Star Award for Quebec, an award he earned due to his tremendous leadership skills. Abdou earned his promotion to Assistant Management in the MAV Montreal location in 2012 and continued to reach for his goals of Management. Abdou reached this goal at the 2012 East Coast Agency Holiday Party where he was promoted to Manager. He has now set his sights on the goal of owning his own corporation – something he would like to achieve in the near future.

Scott started his career in this business in November of 2009. He initially began working in Ottawa as a field representative before accepting the opportunity to move to Montreal in June of 2010 as part of the team at Maveric Marketing Inc.! It was in Montreal where Scott really made a name for himself, honing his abilities and developing his skills. In July of 2011, Scott joined the JM Royal Enterprises Inc. office, bringing his motivation and passion for the causes he represents. Scott is regularly recognized as a Monthly Compliment Leader in The Network News and has won multiple monthly client contests! Last year at the 2011 East Coast Holiday Party, Scott was presented with the Top Leader Award for JMR and has since been spotlighted in an April 2012 edition of The Network News, recognizing his achievements. Scott’s incredible and impactful effort has paid off, and as a result, was promoted to Assistant Manager of JMR at the 2012 Fall Leaders’ Conference. He recently reached his next milestone – promotion to Manager of MAV7 in Montreal! Looking forward, Scott has goals to earn Incorporation while he continues to develop his team and skills in Montreal.

Corey began his career with Big Maveric Marketing Inc. in September of 2012 and after only two weeks with the company he hit leadership! Corey started building his team right away and was recognized for his overall performance, accountability and loyalty with the Top Leader Award for Halifax at the 2012 East Coast Holiday Party. Corey then went on to be promoted to Team Leader on April 5th, 2013 and took his team to Newfoundland. Most recently, Corey was promoted to Assistant Manager at the 2013 Summer Leaders’ Conference and is now officially running a Top Shelf office in St. Johns. As a dual citizen, Corey has goals to continue gaining experience to be able to take it to the United States and help us continue our growth there.

Matthew started his career with Big Maveric Marketing Inc. 5 on November 6, 2012 and was considered management material right from the start. Matthew hit leadership right away and set his sights on an eagle! He built his team and trained as much as possible, showing great leadership in the process. Matthew didn’t look back after becoming Team Leader in June of 2013 and built a team that consistently accumulates an average of 5,000 Newsletter points a week. After running the largest Halifax road trip in history – 22 people – with no problem, Matthew earned his eagle and was promoted to Assistant Manager.
